The Health Information Technology (HIT) at Corporate College is comprised of 6 non-credit certificate programs designed to address a projected shortage in the supply of trained HIT professionals. Studies project that as many as 50,000 additional HIT professionals may be needed over the next 5 years to support the implementation of electronic health records in the United States.
To be eligible for these short term programs (6 months or less), you must have experience and education in information technology or healthcare.
Scholarships are available for qualified students. When you complete the program pre-admission form for entry into the program, your scholarship eligibility will be evaluated.
The HIT program is flexible and accessible for working professionals. It is offered in a hybrid format--blending campus-based instruction with distance education courses. It includes evening and weekend scheduling.
